Frequently
Asked Questions:
Didn't Randolph Township
cease to exist after the 1998 land merger?
No. Randolph Township still exists as a surveyed township and its boundaries will continue to show on maps and appear in deed
records. Randolph did lose its classification as a civil
township with a township government made up of its own
elected township trustees. Following voter approval of the
merger of unincorporated parts of the old township with the
Village of Clayton, the township government was replaced with
government by the municipality of Clayton in January of 1998. Englewood and Union continued with their own city governments
within their own city limits.
What are the boundaries of
Randolph Township, Montgomery County, Ohio?
Randolph
Township, Montgomery County, Ohio is bounded by Westbrook Rd. on
the south, Diamond Mill Rd. on the west, County Line Rd. on the
north and the Stillwater River on the east.
Why is there a Randolph
Township Historical Society?
Our society
